With the growing need to maintain adequate water supplies in the face of low rainfall and planned urban developments, the UK water utilities must evaluate the cost benefits and payback of water saving devices against the priorities of the consumer and the efficiency, installation and operation of new and existing technologies. Recognising the economics and value of water saving devices in both the domestic and commercial spheres is integral to ensure the regulatory bodies plan effectively to incorporate the cost of these devices within their budgets and thereby bring important financial and environmental savings.
Global Water Efficiency Strategies is a senior-level international summit that will benchmark practical case studies from water-scarce environments around the world, that have already adopted successful water efficiency measures and re-use technologies within their integrated water resource management programmes. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the commercial, practical viability of grey water recycling and rainwater harvesting and how to overcome issues of public acceptability when using indirect waste water for potable and non-potable purposes.
Attend this Summit to: -
- Establish the incremental savings benefits and real paybacks from new and upcoming water efficient technologies to decipher which are the optimum devices in the domestic and commercial arenas
- Gain clarity on public perceptions for water saving and water re-use measures to match consumer demands and promote water efficiency
- Evaluate the capital, operating and environmental costs associated with grey water recycling, rainwater harvesting and indirect potable waste water re-use
